Windows Vista (codename Longhorn) Beta 1 has become available to MSDN (Subscribers), MVP's , etc. etc.

Go get it now!

Ps: It does run in VMWare 4.5 (using XP as guest OS).

Well.... it runs... but not completely.

VMWare 4.5: Cannot get the network to run. The NIC either isn't recognized or at 99% install give "There was a problem added this driver to the store" (mmhhh, nice decription of where, what & how... :S )

VMWare 5.0: Got it up & running, but with occasional total freezes of the Guest OS.

More when i got it.

This is great! One question: Is there any way around the authentication issue? I have a portal which requires a login/password. Am I out of luck?
