BizTalk Server 2006 RTM

The wait has been long and difficult, but it is here.... right now!

BizTalk Server 2006 has gone RTM.

For universal subscribers

Now... the waiting for 2008 starts ;)

That is a good question!

It seems that Microsoft is trying to place BizTalk as integration system between local systems and 'the cloud'.

Although this is not an official statement of Microsoft, their 2010R2 release has 3 main points of which one states: "Cloud ready".

We'll have to keep a look out on what that really means ;)
